Belfast Comunity Circus School

Belfast Community Circus School was established in 1985 during the midst of the conflict in Northern Ireland. The organisation began as a means of bringing young people together from all communities for positive experiences producing greater unity and personal development.
Today, we have Ireland's only purpose built circus school. This hosts a regular Youth Circus with 70 members, an adult circus group of 30 members and provides training and rehearsal space for about 20 artists.
In addition, Belfast Community Circus runs an extensive outreach programme for young people in areas of disadvantage and for young people marginalised in our society.
